About the project

The project “Joint Action to Reduce Increased Risk of Forest Fires to Nature and People in the Context of Climate Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina” aims to intensify, strengthen, and facilitate the joint and coordinated efforts of the government sector and civil society to promote fire risk management, climate change adaptation, and enhancing Bosnia and Herzegovina’s disaster preparedness. Forestry and Environmental Action – FEA is implementing the project, with the support of the regional project SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans, which is implemented by the Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD), the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM), and financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
